Plymouth State is the only NH university that boasts an integrated social studies program where education courses are taught by experienced and certified social studies professors across all four years-- modeling the strategies and merging them with core disciplines. Plymouth State also hosts National History Day and Model UN Programs for New Hampshire. We are dedicated to enhancing social studies education across New Hampshire.

Home to National History Day in New Hampshire
NHD is an education program designed to help students to engage in history by designing and completing original research on a topic of interest. Nearly one million students participate nationwide. New Hampshire's program has been hosted by Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH since 2003.
