How hard is it to make money in stocks?

The stock market is complex, with lots of buying and selling of stock.  It's one of those things you learn through experience... but even then trained Ivy Leagues can't beat the Market. Have students read this article from Business Insider. Then consider doing a hands on activity and using the Stock Market Game at www.marketwatch.com. The teacher will need to arrange a game for their class and then have students create accounts.
